Ila's Fried Rice
I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who has written to me and said they like my recipes. I love trying new foods and mixing ingredients and knowing that you enjoy them makes my day!
Ingredients: rice (any brand will do) brussel sprouts shallots garlic bok choy portobello mushrooms San J Gluten Free Soy Sauce Sichuan Chili Crisp Sauce olive oil (you can use any oil. I like olive oil since it is light.) Borsari original blend Instructions: Premake rice. I use a rice cooker. It just makes it easier. If you don't have one, follow the instructions on the rice package. Put oil in wok or saute pan (medium to high heat) Put garlic, 1/2 teaspoon, in oil along with chopped shallots. I used 2 shallots because I love their flavor. Cook for 5 minutes or until shallots are lightly browned. Add diced mushrooms and brussel sprouts and flavor with Borsari seasoning. Borsari packs a lot of flavor so don't use too much of it. You can always add more at the end if it isn't seasoned enough for your taste buds. Once those vegetables are thoroughly cooked, add the bok choy. I chop it up. When the bok choy leaves are cooked, add rice. I use 1 1/2 cups of cooked rice and mix into the sauteed vegetables. After everything is mixed together, add 1/4 teaspoon of the sichuan chili crisp and 1 teaspoon of the soy sauce. Mix thoroughly. Taste. Depending upon how spicy you like your food, you can add some more of the sichuan chili crisp. I don't like super spicy so the 1/4 teaspoon worked for me. Enjoy!
